Started by three girls in a Design class from New York City, CG-INFLUENCERS is a blog created to solely inform and discuss the general youth and audience of the digital age about these growing influencers. Ella, Jane and Leia are part of the major teen demographic of social media users. They are passionate about society’s use of social media with the influencers of such, and how they are blended with top fashion empires. They aim to make the future of social media and fashion a better place, specifically by creating the conversation of what role digital models will play for generations to come.
Who, or what, are CGi influencers?
To get an idea of who CGI influencers are, its important to know who a ‘regular’ or ‘human’ social media influencer is.
What is a social media influencer?
These people are social media stars. They have large followings and are often promoters of products or brands to their large audience. Often confused with models, social media influencers are generally not part of a management company as models are, even though they both work with fashion empires.
So, what’s a CGI influencer?
These are the same as social media influencers, except they aren’t real people. CGI influencers are ‘people’ created by a company using CGI, who take on a personality.

26.7% of interviewees didn't know about any CGI influencers, but on the other hand 73.3% do. Most of these people have learned about them from SHane dawson or over social media. The most known influencer is Lil miquela, who is very present on social media. Her lesser known counterparts are bermuda and blawko.

a shocking 73.3% of people said that they don't think cgi influencers have a positive effect on society, while 26.7& think they do. Interviewees had very different thoughts on why these influencers were created. it ranges from advertisements to money to entertainment.
People’s Thoughts On Learning More About CGI Influencers

Out of 15 interviewees 13.3% don’t want to learn more about these influencers, but 86.7% do. The ones who said no explained that they consider it irrelevent. The ones who said yes stated that they wanted to know more because they were curious and thought the influencers are interesting.
Alfred the alien
Alfred the Alien is an up and coming CGI influencer on Instagram. He claims to be an alien from a planet Okkecury that is millions of light years away. His intentions are to prove that humans can and should accept aliens in society and to become a comedian, musician and fashion idol. He has reached over 1000 followers on instagram after starting his account in September of 2018. Though it is very clear that he is not, in fact, a human, or an alien for that matter, he is still considered to be a CGI influencer since his photos and videos are computer generated imagery.
